All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test (AIPGMET II-2016).

Exam Details :

Dr. D.Y. Patil University (DPU), Pune has released the exam dates for the All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test (AIPGMET II-2016). The exam is scheduled for Sunday, April 17 2016. AIPGMET is conducted for taking admission to Doctor of Medicine (MD) offered in Anatomy, Microbiology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology and Preventive & Social Medicine for the session.The interested candidates must apply latest by April 9.

Eligibility criteria :

• The candidate who has passed the final MBBS examination from a recognised medical college, included in the schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, is eligible.
• The candidate who has obtained registration either from the MCI or from the authorized State Medical Council after completing a one-year compulsory rotating internship.
• The candidate, who is still undergoing one-year compulsory rotating internship and is likely to complete it by March 31 2016, will be permitted to appear for the AIPGMET-II – 2016. Their selection will be subject to completion of compulsory rotating internship of one year and registration before 15 April 2016. They will have to submit documentary evidence from the Principal/Dean of the College regarding the anticipated date of completion of internship along with the application, failing which their application shall be rejected.
